Wired calls him "The Linus Torvalds of Antigravity", but NASA still won't return his calls. Since the birth of American Antigravity in 2002, Tim has been featured on a multitude of television networks, such as Nippon TV and the BBC, as well as extensively covered in print by sources as diverse as Wired Magazine and Jane's Defense Weekly.
In 2001, a California defense-contractor built a replica of the fabled Nazi-Bell. It worked. Get the story behind the story of “Einstein’s Antigravity”, and how a simple research project turned into a mind-blowing jaunt through history’s biggest conspiracy…
The Nazi-Bell story is simultaneously one of the best stories that I've ever written, and yet one of the most frustrating. I'd have to call it the strangest story that I've done, for several reasons -- not the least of which being that it’s the only serious "conspiracy theory" that I've ever published. I wouldn't have written it if the facts didn't check out, which makes the story itself just keep getting stranger.
Let's start with the basics. My initial exposure to the Nazi-Bell was the same as most people's -- through Nick Cook's "The Hunt for Zero Point". Nick sent me a promo-copy to review before the book was released here in the states, and while I was already familiar with most of the information he'd written about, the Bell stood apart as being something that I'd never heard about before -- even in vague newsgroup rumors. Stories like the Searl Effect Generator or the Podkletnov disk get bandied about online, so it's rare to see a book or TV-show with anything genuinely new…making the Bell a rare exception.

I've been waiting for this story to emerge with all the connections. Although some of the details may be less than accurate the article convincingly sews together physics facts from the late 30's to the present to explain similar phenomena and a fuzzy picture begins to sharpen. I am convinced it is the most important story Ventura has ever written principally because of the deep connection between the rise of civilization and its utilization of energy. What is missing from the article is the reason this information has been so markedly secreted probably by more than one group in more than one country. What are the possible application of this information to weapons development What would be the consequences of extremely efficient conversion of matter into energy that might be performed in a small lab as Hutchinson has done if he could control it If this is connected to zero point energy and the Casimir Effect how much energy is available Undoubtedly the conversion of matter to energy in a nuke would look like a firecracker in comparison! What are the consequences and is contemporary civilization mature enough to deal with it

Thought provoking. Onwards towards validation and replication ... On the plus side I hope for a "Star Trek" or more likely if it happens in our life times a "Star Gate SG-!" type future. On the minus side not to underestimate humanity's capacity for "dark uses" of revolutionary technology consider the folowing. Explosives with near "infinite" energy A "time space disruptor dirty bomb" Given the initial effects and possibly toxic side effects it may be easier to do the latter than the former.

The refrence to floating mercury reminds me of the records of "mercury heat pipes" being used for flying in Hindu legends.
