Lifters & Biefeld-Brown

American Antigravity has been a leader in Lifter research since 2002, and we're proud to showcase our work to help benefit the thousands of experimenters involved with studying the Biefeld-Brown Effect. Whether you're just getting started, or working diligently on advanced concepts, we're sure that our Lifter research will be a valuable asset to your own endeavors.

» Lifter Advances in 2002
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 12/22/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
Lifter technology advanced significantly over the course of 2002 – in general, the advances have been incremental improvements in size and weight, with additional advances in materials and assembly that enabled Lifters to lift larger payloads more efficiently than ever before.
» Collector Capacitance Notes
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 12/13/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
With regard to the ion-wind component of the physics, this is an brief overview of Lifters with regard to thrust and space-charge attraction. With proper enhancements to the collector, much greater capacitive-elements can be employed to greatly enhance the performance of the Lifter design with only minor design modifications...
» Air-Enhancement Experiments
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 12/10/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
The goal of these experiments were to potentially increase the conductivity of the air between the wire and the foil in the Lifter design to allow greater Ion-Wind thrust. While this may not enhance the Biefeld-Brown thrust component, increased throughput from Ion-Wind will result in higher efficiency & overall-thrust in Lifters.
» Performance Graphs & Metrics
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 10/31/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
The Lifter Efficiency Spreadsheet was an analysis of the Lifter-data recorded by Jean-Louis Naudin. He recorded precision measurements across an array of design, power, and size variant Lifters, making trend-analysis possible. Our analysis includes graphs of these measurements to allow projections to be made for future Lifter designs.
» Making Lifters Efficient with UV
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 10/18/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
In 2002, Saviour established a baseline of 1/watt per gram for a "normal" Lifter, and suggested that lowering the operating voltage for Lifters would improve this efficiency. Our findings suggest a method to utilize Ultraviolet Pre-Ionization to boost efficiency to nearly 1 pound per watt, making Lifters competitive with aircraft in efficiency.
» Anomalous Lifter EM-Effects
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 05/23/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
A brief overview of some anomalous magnetic and electrostatic field effects encountered while testing the 3-foot Lifter for some acquaintances on May 23rd, 2002. While the Lifter is turned on it seems to completely suppress magnetic fields in the immediate vicinity, even after ruling out conventional EM-interference...
» Lifter Overview
By Lifters & Biefeld-Brown | Published 03/20/2002 | Lifter Experiments | Rating:
What are Lifters, and why are they important? American Antigravity's very first article discusses the emerging revolution in open-source Antigravity research occurring around the globe as a result of collaborative online research. This is not only an overview of what Lifters are, but what they mean, and where they come from...
