Beamship Prototype

American Antigravity has constructed and tested a beamship, which is a type of Lifter utilizing only one large-sized lifting cell. The beamship measures 3-feet on a side, and has a 5cm air-gap to allow for higher-voltages and performance from the hvolt-series power-supply.

Performance Notes

The beamship displayed remarkable acceleration during testing using the high-output power-supply.

The lifting force and stability of the beamship design to not appear as great as the conventional larger-size multi-cellular Lifter, but the Beamship offers a lower overall weight and a good power-ratio considering its comparably small lifting area.

The Beamship Power-Supply

The Beamship is powered by a 100+ kilovolt, 2.5 mA power-supply with a total output of 250 available watts. This supply is manufactured by Information Unlimited, and is sold in either the Hvolt50 (50kV) or Hvolt100 (100kV). Click here
