The Vimana were the flying craft of the RAMA empire which was located in INDIA and PAKISTAN.

All of these were supposed to have been flown (as best as I can find out) by means of heating MERCURY in a fire pot and allowing it to become gasseous. This was released through a small opening ( venturi ). There are many VEDIC texts which speak of these craft. And, one text reads like a pilot's manual on how to fly them and what to avoid when flying. Another text deals with the construction of a vimani!! Still others talk about vimani being flown and in some cases, about battles in SPACE. In one text, it tells a story about one vimani which was flown to the Moon and back and about the battle in space between this vimani and another one from the ASVIN EMPIRE.

There were several different types of these Vimana:
 1. A flying cylinder type which laid on it's side more like a roller.
 2. There was one which more resembled the "classic " flying saucer and,         
 3. There was another one which I don't at this time remember what it looked like.

I guess what you'd have to say here is that at the dawn of OUR RECORDED HISTORY, all of the civilizations which were founded early on sprang into being from the beginning as fully mature civilizations because they had an earlier civilization to draw from which was mostly world wide ( I still have my doubts that they were as extensively world wide as we are today and also, I think they were very cast conscious which would further mean that only certain casts had ALL of the knowledge and benefits thereof. THe lowest cast was not much more than stone age indians most likely. I also think their enclaves around the world were not too extensive and that they left large indigenous populations of primitives mostly alone except when they needed slave labor.) I think this is why the Egyptians, Sumerians and others literally sprang out of nonexistence and straight into a fully mature civilization. ( I know very well about the ANNUNAKI which sitchin talks about, IE : the GODS of the SUMERIANS are supposed to have come from a planet called NIBIRU but, if this is true, I think it would have been MUCH farther back in time than what we're talking about but, who knows ; Sitchin just might be right on. )

  I know for a fact that the ancient Central Americans wore headresses that were amazingly similar to what the Egyptians wore and further, both cultures built Pyramids out of Huge dressed rock. They both used cleats to hold their building blocks together as well and these cleats did NOT rust so they had a way to alloy metal. In the central amerticas, they used the wheel on the toys which their children played with and, the small gold pendants which Von Daniken made fameous were actual representations of flying craft. THere were these two engineers who decided to see if they could make a large replica of one of these pendants so, they chose one and built it. The only things which they added were flight surfaces such as alerons, a rudder and a propeller motor. This craft was remote controlled and flew extremely well. It was in fact very acrobatic. Other things have been found which lend credence to the idea that there actually was at least one advanced civilization on this planet long before ours came along. These things are : a small ceramic pot which was found with one iron rod and a copper ring with a copper rod attached to it... this was later found to be a small battery. Another thing which has been found looked something like a huge spittoon except it had a MERCURY flim inside it. This was one of the mercury " Engines " I talked about earlier. They found on a temple wall ( this was the one which was unearthed at ABYDOS, I believe ) something which looked very much like a snake inside a long glass tube which was being supported by a metal pole. Some engineers built one and they supplied a power source for it, hooked it up and turned it one... guess what, they had a light bulb ( electric, of course ) which answered the long standing question of why there were no carbon smoke deposits on the ceilings in these temples. They also found in this temple an etched rendering of somethings which look like flying craft we use today and some others which we don't have as of yet. So, I'm guessing we have a more widely spread civilization this time around and that more of the population of this planet is educated than before. So, I'm just waiting to see how long it will take us to get this HYPERDRIVE method up and running. We just might see this happen in our lifetimes, Tim!! J.T.

I wonder if there are any Vimana still around since those things were supposed to have been nearly indestructable!! If so where do you think they'd be located??!!

Also, Do you know of the " GLASS LAKES " in China?? I heard about them a long time ago and, I have finally found a Chinese girl who has actually seen one of them in person. There has long been found in the Lybian desert a type of glass which is yellowish green. It's found in large chunks and they make jewelry out of it. But, no one knows why it's there in the first place. I'm betting it wasmade the same way as TRINITITE. IE : by NUCLEAR EXPLOSION. This would confirm the story of how the ancient city in INDIA was destroyed along with 500,000 people which were found lying in the streets, one of them had a ceramic pot FUSED to it's ribcage!!! And further, the city was still extremely radioactive... on a par with NAGASAKI and HIROSHIMA after we dropped the bombs on them!! It's so radioactive that they had to cordon the entire area off!! Oh, by the way, did ytou hear a few years ago about the strange pyramid in MONGOLIA that has odd things rusting outside of it and a lake that has something like metal pipes sticking up from the water?? Some of it came from other sites which I can't find anymore but, the creators of s8int can and will help you as much as they can. They're pretty straight up folk and are quite cautious about what they publish.

Some of the other stuff I've managed to piece together has come from years of searching and it's been stored on the back burner so to speak and the pieces of the puzzle have slowly come together.

There had to be a reason why our ancient ancestors built with MEGALITHIC stones... They feared another GREAT FLOOD and only those sized stones could stand that kind of impact. Further, if you stop and think about it, just how well would modern day buildings stand up to say a wall of water hitting them at about a hundred to a thousand miles an hour and that wall of water being several hundred feet tall and carrying along with it all manner of debris such as cars, cows, trucks, trains and other things including unfortunate people!! Imagine for a moment that kind of impact. It would be totally devastating. Let me ask another question, just how well would modern day mortar hold up under that kind of onslaught?? I don't know but, I'm willing to bet that if you had huge " bricks " made of solid granite held together with a stainless steel cleat they'd hold together much better than our mortared thin bricks.

There had to be an observed conclusion that the pyramid style was not only much more stable than anything else but, much more easy to build than some other constructions would have been.

I'm favoring the idea that our ancestors observed that mountains survived earthquakes and floods much better than anything else and so, they built their own mad - made " MOUNTAINS "!!

Please understand this is only my theory and there is NOTHING to support this at all.

On to another thing I read today on the s8int web - site which just might be really profound. The topic on one headliner eventually dealt with large tracts of ancient land being subducted along with LARGE amounts of WATER.

They way I read it the author was talking about nearly as much water as can be found on the surface of the Earth today might be slowly heading towards the mohorovisic line. Do you know what will happen if this is true?? We might one day awaken to tremendous explosions when that water turns into steam instantly and whole tracts of land could be destroyed which are hundreds of miles in diameter. Well, when you consider that water will expand 1,700 times, if you have a huge amount, there's going to be quite a BANG and a surprising result afterwards! It makes you wonder about all of those " LEGENDARY " lands that disappeared now don't it??!!!

WHOA there, stop and think about what I just said and think about what happened to the ISLAND of KRAKATOA in the Pacific Ocean. They believe the MAGMA chamber cracked when it blew and that allowed SEA WATER into the chamber!! Once that happened, all of that water turned INSTANTLY to STEAM!! and, WHAMMO... no more island. There were some really beautifull sunsets for quite a long while afterwards and at least Europe experienced something like a mild nuclear winter because crops for many years were not up to par with those that came afterwards or before that time. This is true for everywhere across europe, siberia, china, etc. And it truely was darker during the day which is why it became known as the dark ages. If you did around on the 'net, you'll find I'm telling the truth. I can't document where I found this information because I didn't write down the web
- sites but, it too all makes sense and has been chronicled by some investigators I read about a while back ( a couple of years ago ).

It all goes to show you that our world is much stranger than you might think and far more dangerous than most people would like to believe.

As you well know, to make GLASS, requires a LOT of heat and to produce large chunks of glass which are three times the size of your hand would require a whole LOT of heat but, that's exactly what they find in the LIBYAN desert. The lakes of GLASS in CHINA are real I once read about them somewhere and like I said, I've run into a Chinese girl here in Memphis, Tn. who says she has been to one of them...  they're in the Gobi desert.
She seemed to be surprised that I knew of them.

Find the article that talks about the diary of a G.I. in WW2 who along with several others were led to a cave in Czechoslovakia where he found a BLACK SILO structure that he couldn't chip with even a bullet he fired from his rifle!! I wonder what that this is IF it's real.

HAve you heard about the guy who got wind of the HUGE CRABS on the ocean floor?? I know these actually exist because I've seen a photograph of one which was ten feet across the shell. He was trying to catch one which was alrger than that one. The size quoted was twenty feet across the shell.
Well he made a steel  cage to trap one in and as the story goes actually caught one but, before he could get it to the surface, something tore up his steel cage and got away with his prized yummy ( my words, here )!!

Well, he was totally pissed and went back and had another steel cage built which was much stronger than the last one and he set out in his 35 foot boat to try his luck yet again at catching a BIG crab. Well, he caught one and this time he had side scanning sonar on board and what he saw happen next scaired him badly. He reported that something TENT like settled over his new cage which was two hundred feet from tentacle tip to tentacle tip and it began to pull his boat further out to sea at about 5 miles an hour!! This is somehting I read once!! Does that sound like a KRAKKEN to you, sir??!!! IE : NOt a giant SQUID but, instead, a GIANT OCTIPUS exactly like the early sailors stated. Even the giant squids would not be able to pull a 60 foot long wooden ship down but, something like an Octipus with that kind of MASS certainly could!!

I have long wanted to organize an underwater expedition to discover if these creatures are actually down there and to document underwater archaeological finds such as the underwater city that has been found off of the Cuban western coast in over 700 meters of water. The city has huge pyramids, broad avenues, and other structures as well. It may very well be the origins of the OLMECS.

Further, a large island has been " discovered " outside the pillars of hercules in the Atlantic Ocean and in about a little over 180 feet of water. I find it interesting that a RUSSIAN submarine reported finding evidence of stone columns in supposedly the same general area!!

By the way, I know of a company that I believe could make a submarine that could reach these depths and more but, it would cost a pretty penny to build it.
