X-Prize Team coordinator Brian Feeney joins us to discuss The DaVinci Project — a non-profit, open-source Canadian X-Prize contestant working on a next-generation rocket-based launch platform to achieve the contest’s 100km orbital requirement. The DaVinci Project is one of many X-Prize contenders pursuing a goal ultimately one by Burt Rutan and the SpaceShip-One team, however, his success in no way diminishes the value of innovation delivered by contenders such as Brian Feeney and the DaVinci Project team.
