Tesla Turbine Photos

Tesla TurbineThe Tesla turbine is a bladeless centripetal flow turbine originally designed by Nikola Tesla and patented in 1913. The use of disks instead of blades makes the Tesla turbine more durable than conventional turbine designs, making it suitable for pumping steam and mixed fluid slurries. The photos in this gallery were taken at TeslaTech of a device presented by Jeffrey Hayes, a former Rockwell engineer and longtime member of the Tesla Engine Builders Association, a non-profit group devoted to Tesla turbine technology. Plasma Photos

Plasma PhotosThis gallery features cold plasma experiments performed by Warren York and Mike Windell which they claim creates molecular changes in the crystalline structure of quartz samples placed in a plasma reaction chamber. York & Windell have experimented with the application of complex magnetic fields to low-pressure plasmas composed of various gas mixtures, as well as the effects of those on a variety of quartz and other crystalline objects, and have reported effects they believe may be related to the Hutchison Effect. Nuclear Generator Photos

RTG Nuclear GeneratorRadioisotope Thermoelectric Generators are spaceborne nuclear generators that provide electrical power for satellites through the nuclear decay of substances such as plutonium that power closed-loop generator systems. Traditional RTGs use thermocouples to directly convert heat to electricity, but the low efficiency of those devices has led to the development of dynamic generator designs that utilize free-piston Stirling engines to provide much higher efficiencies and greater electrical output. Cover Art

Cover ArtA decade ago when I started American Antigravity every inventor I knew had a box filled with magazine articles they’d printed out as reference material, so when I started writing stories I figured PDF format was the way to go. It was a no-brainer, because people were sending me magazine articles they’d scanned as PDF files all the time, so why should my stories by any different? Also, PDF format gave me the opportunity to add cover art to my stories, and over time that became a defining part of American Antigravity’s style. Read more

The Grassy Knoll Photos

The Grassy KnollIn June 2010 I took a business trip to a conference in Dallas, Texas, and had the opportunity to visit the Grassy Knoll with Steve Lorimer, a business associate. The conference was held at Renunion Center in downtown Dallas, and we stayed busy enough at the conference that we nearly forgot about the Grassy Knoll until the day before we had to fly back. I looked up the address on Mapquest, and to my surprise found that the Grassy Knoll is only a couple of blocks away from Reunion Center, so we took our rental car over to check it out. Read more
