Footage of Joseph Papp’s “cannon” experiment, in which the inventor prepares a noble-gas tube based on principles similar to the Papp Engine, which leads to detonation that destroys the barrel of the cannon in the process. The widely rumored Papp cannon experiment is considered a demonstration of the remarkable noble-gas expansion that occurs inside the cylinder of the Papp engine when a high-voltage discharge is applied.
