STAIF Conference chair Paul Murad discusses advanced propulsion and space physics with Dr. Martin Tajmar, and suggests that models of space physics require understanding in order to be applied in an engineering context.

According to Murad, advanced physics requires explanation and context in order to readily absorbed, understood, and applied in society, and that scientists and engineers bear the responsibility of ensuring that space physics of tomorrow is created today by taking the time to shepherd that physics out of academia and into use by the rest of society.
